Christmas is just around the corner and once again, and we’d like to invite you to help with our Kettle Campaign! It takes a community to run this campaign, as there were approximately 900 individual volunteers that rung the bells last year.
Does a few hours of your time make a difference? Last year with your help, the 2014 Kettle Campaign raised $104,000 dollars. Funding provided assistance to almost 490 families and 850 children last Christmas. Throughout the year we provide various forms of assistance through our Food Bank (almost 3500 adults and 1900 children received help), Community Response Unit Outreach, ABC Boxes (School Lunch Program), Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (this program has seen an increase of 74% this year), we were able to meet special needs; including medications or transportation to appointments out of town (this program has seen an increase of 46% this year) and various other Community and Family Services programs.
Your time matters to those who depend on us.
We are needing your assistance again this year and trust you will be able to partner with us as The Salvation Army “gives hope” to those in need this Christmas.
If you are willing to assist us, please contact us as soon as possible.
For inquiries please call Christina DiStefano at 705-326-3472 (office) or Email.
We look forward to partnering with you to create a wonderful Christmas Season for families in our local community!
